A very busy week

I haven't been able to blog much this week because of work. Month end at a property rental agency is a madhouse. Been busy with lessson and because it gets dark early now I'm not having much time for my 2. Looking forward to the weekend so I can spend quality time with them. The farrier came today so I'm a happy girl. I'm having problems downloading pics at the moment but hopefully soon....

A LONG wet weekend

Not much ahppened this weekend....other than rain. I managed to squeeze a few lessons in but the going is so wet everywhere. Spent most of the weekend shopping or reading. Wish I could motivate myself to sort out the garage and organise my tack. I'm very excited about Shelly's new saddle. It's beautiful and I'm hoping that I'll be able to afford one for madam Crumbs when I back her(When being the word). I haven't had much time to spend working in hand with her lately cause of lessons and shows. Not complaining though, very pleased with my pupils and their horses and teh results at shows. This afternoon it's Sasha's turn for a dressage lesson. If she keeps her cool her horse goes beautifully. Fingers crossed.

Cold, wet and miserable...duck weather

It hasn't stopped raining since last night and it's cold on top of it. Angelo(groom) is off this weekend so it was up early trudging through the wet to feed the horses. Silly is coming home from OP today. We close his door when he's gone cause we miss him so. Not going to be fun towing in this weather but at least he's coming home. The melanoma treatment seems to be working(YAY). Crumbs not the happiest of campers this morning cause she couldn't go out but shorty couldn't care as long as he has food. after work it's lunch for Crumbs and off to Pretoria.

Hi there...

Okay so this has taken me a year but I've finally done it. I decided to blog. I love reading other blogs, reading what others have to say, seeing the pictures of their lives. I have two horse(one and a bit), My warmblood filly(Franc Swella's Delgado's Dream-aka Crumbs)is 3 and my mini(Shorty Story aka shorty) is 8.I am incredibly lucky and fortunate to be able to look after my own horse. I keep my two at a friend and client's property and keep an eye on her two as well as she has two daughters who also ride. Silly(a South african Boerperd) and tonto(a paint) are hers.So if you hear me chatting anout them you'll know who they are. I have owned my miniature for 4 years and my warmblood for two and I think it's time to share what I do, think and feel. So here goes....help me if I need it(please)
